Yoga Teacher Mentorship
For the yoga teacher ready to refine their teaching and embody their craft.
Whether you’re a new teacher finding your niche or experienced facilitator feeling a shift in your foundation, mentorship helps you connect with your authentic voice and build systems that truly support you.
The Heart of Practice Mentorship is a 12-week 1-on-1 immersion for yoga teachers seeking a more sustainable, responsive, and authentic approach to their teaching and leadership.
Together, we’ll move beyond formulas and toward cultivating the practical skills and inner confidence that allow your teaching to truly evolve.
We’ll meet twice monthly online or in person, which offers just enough structure for insights and practices to build progressively while still creating space for reflection, experimentation, and meaningful growth.
Every teacher carries strengths, habits, questions, and blind spots.
Our work begins by listening.
Together, we’ll take stock of where you are now and identify what feels supportive, what feels unsustainable, and where you sense an invitation for growth. Rather than overhauling your teaching, we’ll focus on uncovering the principles and practices that allow it to become more clear, intentional, and distinctly your own.
From there, we’ll explore the elements that shape a student’s experience:
• how you sequence
• how you cue
• how you pace
• how you offer choice
• how you guide attention
• how you create conditions for regulation, curiosity, and trust
Teaching with the nervous system in mind isn’t a separate style of yoga.
It is a way of approaching the practice itself.
Through reflection, observation, feedback, and practical application, you’ll learn to respond to what is actually happening in the room rather than relying solely on plans or scripts.
What This Work Supports
Over the course of our time together, you’ll cultivate:
Clarity
Refine your approach to sequencing, theming, and class structure so that your teaching feels purposeful rather than performative.
Confidence
Strengthen your ability to adapt in real time, make decisions with greater ease, and trust your own experience.
Communication
Develop clearer cueing and language that reduce overwhelm and support a wide range of bodies and nervous systems.
Discernment
Learn to recognize what serves your students, your energy, and your values, allowing your teaching to evolve with intention.
Sustainability
Create rhythms and practices that support growth without sacrificing your well-being.
Authentic Leadership
Cultivate a teaching style that reflects your unique strengths and allows you to lead with greater presence, responsiveness, and integrity.
You don’t need to overhaul your teaching.
You simply need space to listen, support to refine, and practices that help you embody what you already know.
